More than a committee, Social Action encompasses the whole idea of "Tikkun Olam."
- When our youth groups clean the streets around the synagogue
- When a Bar or Bat Mitzvah teen designates a charitable organization as the recipient of funds or gifts
- When we bring food for the Harvey Kornblum Jewish Food Pantry
- When members attend to those who need help and provide Meals on Wheels
- When members visit the sick or reach out to those in a period of mourning
- When we send money to support Tikkun Olam programs in Israel
...it is all Tikkun Olam.
