What's Happening at Shaare Zedek

February 26 at 11am - Sisterhood Torah Fund Brunch

This annual event helps raise funds that benefits various Rabbi and Cantor Associations.  This year's proceeds are earmarked for the Cantors' Assembly.   In addition, Arleen Kerman and her crew have been planning for months and will deliver a delicious brunch followed by music performed by Hazzan Howard Shalowitz: “Who wrote the songs that made the whole shul sing”
Brunch – $12.00 PLUS your Torah Fund donation
We will be making a donation to the Cantors Assembly.

Men's Club Man of the Year Luncheon
Sunday, March 4, 1 pm at Shaare Zedek

The SZ and BA MEN’S CLUBs are proud to award their “Man of the Year”, ours goes to Gary Kodner in recognition of his devotion, dedication and service to Shaare Zedek and our community. A special FJMC Award Luncheon will be held in his honor starting at 1pm in Leve Auditorium. Tickets are $18 per person. Kehillah: Young Adults Creating Conscious Community

Jewish? Post-college, but pre-kids? Looking for other people in St. Louis like you?

Join us for a new, exciting series of events, featuring interactive,  musical Shabbat services at Shaare Zedek Synagogue, followed by:

- Wine tasting and appetizers (Friday, February 24 & Friday, March 30)

- Shabbat dinners at young professionals’ homes (Friday, March 2 & Friday, April 20*)

- Shabbat dinner and discussion about creating and sustaining meaningful community (Friday, May 4*)

All events begin at 6:00pm at Shaare Zedek Synagogue. (*RSVP required)
